It involved leading a pilot project on exploring the impact of in-class movement breaks on student wellbeing, which was undertaken by a number of teachers with 2nd year classes.
The feedback from students and teachers involved was very positive and it is planned to roll this out at a whole school level in the next school year.
They were presented with their certificates and plaque by Norma O' Brien, Limerick Education Centre and Terry O' Sullivan, Tralee Education Centre at the Shared Learning Day recently, where they got the opportunity to link in with lots of other schools and share ideas about initiatives they had implemented to improve teaching, learning and wellbeing.
