We are lucky in SPSL to have two local clubs which feed into our school, raising the profile of our basketball players and our position on the school circuit.
In 2017/18 we won 3 A All Ireland titles (U16 Boys; Minor Girls and Junior Boys) - this has been the result of a lot of hard work done at ground level for years at Gneeveguilla Basketball Club and Rathmore Ravens Basketball Club.
Indeed, the school is extremely lucky to have coaches from both clubs associated with the school and coaching our students to such high standards for many years. It is because of many years of hard work with our students that we are now an A school.
We regularly have students involved with SW Basketball teams also.
