All students study the following exam subjects:
- English;
- Irish;
- Maths;
- History;
- Geography;
- Science;
- French or German (students will study one for the first 4-5 weeks and change to the until the mid-term break. Students will then make a decision on which to continue with in November).
- Students will choose 3 of the following subjects: Business Studies; Home Economics; Graphics; Visual Art; Wood Technology; Engineering, or Music.
In addition to the exam subjects students also have classes in Religious Education, SPHE, CSPE; Physical Education & Computer Studies.
Students will study 10 exam subjects for their Junior Cycle exams.
At the end of 3rd Year students make a choice to continue into 5th Year or Transition Year (4th Year - Optional) or the Leaving Certificate Applied Programme.
