Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra is a modern co-educational secondary school established in 1998 with the amalgamation of St Mary's Presentation Convent Secondary School and Rathmore Vocational School. The current building can cater for up to 500 students and offers a wide range of subjects. Much of our physical buildings have been upgraded and modernised in recent years.
Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra aims to provide a quality education, rooted in Christian Tradition and Gospel Values within a caring, nurturing and positive environment.
Students are given an opportunity to learn on an intellectual, emotional, social, sporting and spiritual level. All students are welcomed and cherished in a supportive community of parents, students and teachers.
In the school we value genuine effort, truth, honesty and discipline. In conjunction with parents and others in the community we aim to assist in the development of the full potential of each student in a pleasant and safe environment.
